AISA Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 10, 2026

AISA is a personal sports coaching app for iPhone. This policy explains what data the app handles and where it goes. The short version: your data lives on your device, there are no accounts, and nothing is sold or used for advertising.

No accounts, no tracking

AISA has no user accounts and no sign-in. The app contains no advertising, no analytics SDKs and no trackers, and it does not build profiles of you.

Data stored on your device

Your profile (name, age, height, weight, goals), training plans, workout history, food diary, body measurements, progress photos and chat history are stored locally on your iPhone. They are not uploaded to any server operated by us, and they are removed when you delete the app. You can also erase everything at any time in Settings inside the app.

Apple Health

If you grant permission, AISA reads activity data (rings, steps, distance, active energy, body weight) from Apple Health and writes workouts, burned energy, weight and nutrition entries to it. Health data never leaves your device through AISA and is only exchanged with Apple Health under the permissions you control in iOS Settings.

Coaching features and food analysis

When you use the coaching chat or analyze food, meals, gym equipment or exercise form, the text or photos you submit, together with relevant coaching context (such as your goals and recent training or nutrition summaries), are sent over an encrypted connection to our relay server and forwarded to Google's Gemini API to generate the response. This content is used only to produce your answer. We do not store it on our server, and it is not used to identify you. Google processes it as a service provider under Google's API terms.

Workout sharing

When you share a workout, its exercise list (names, sets, reps and rest times, never personal data) is stored on our server under a random code for up to 180 days so the share link stays short. Anyone who receives the link can import that workout.

Barcode lookups

Scanning a product barcode sends the barcode number to the public Open Food Facts database to fetch nutrition data for that product. No personal information is included.

Subscriptions

AISA Pro subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through your App Store account. We never see your payment details. Manage or cancel anytime in your iPhone settings.

Notifications

Reminders (workouts, water, vitamins, weigh-ins) are scheduled locally on your device. No push notification servers are involved.

Children

AISA is intended for users aged 16 and older and is not directed at children.
